Fans can get overexcited, especially when they are seeing their favorite artists. They can come equipped with posters, things to sign, lingerie, and more. It is supposed to be a peaceful way of showing how much show attendees care about the performers, which is very sweet. Unfortunately, things can take a turn, and that is exactly what happened to a country artist in Melbourne, Australia, on March 14th, 2026.
Riley Green was chatting during his show when a cell phone was flung at him. It proceeded to smack him right in his face. As seen from the video clip from the moment that this happened, blood began to drip down from his face. It is unclear if he was hit on the side of his face or his ear, but he took a beat to get checked out and cleaned up. Additionally, Riley, 37, made it clear to his audience that this behavior was unacceptable.
The person who threw the phone was taken out of the show, which was absolutely necessary. Furthermore, fans who saw the clip were blown away by how rude concertgoers could be. The reason for this happening is unknown, but this is never acceptable.
