Luke Bryan Is Speaking Up

After years of performing and judging on American Idol, Luke Bryan has amassed an incredible amount of fans. People love him, and he has seen sold-out crowds, plus he is charming to boot. Unfortunately, he is now under fire for allegedly using AI for his latest single. In May 2026, Luke released “Fish Hunt Golf Drink,” and it was not met with the best reviews. In fact, it was panned by many as they believed it was childish and doubted that he even wrote it.

They left comments below the song, slamming it repeatedly:

  • Country isn’t dead but he sure is trying to kill it
  • Its like cocomelon for hicks
  • It’s so bad I’m not even mad, just disappointed no one stopped it from happening
  • Luke your trolling right come on man I know you know how to write a song
  • This guy is a music judge btw.

Along with this, he was accused of using AI to write the single. However, if he had, maybe the song would have gotten better reviews. Finally, after hearing what people had been saying about artificial intelligence and the single, Luke Bryan clapped back and made it clear this was not the case:

We’ve had some negativity out there. Some trolls kinda saying that I ‘AI’ed it, which is completely false. That song was designed for one thing. To have fun and tell the world what I love to do and what I strive to do.

At the end of the day, this is allegedly full-fledged Luke. Moreover, it was written by humans and not by a machine or any technology.

Can Luke Redeem Himself?

The Leesburg, Georgia, native does not seem to care what people have to say. However, Luke Bryan did feel the need to speak up and out regarding the song and allegations. Despite what fans have to say, he will keep on singing and judging on American Idol. This song may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but he is headed out on tour this summer. No doubt he is ready to jam before heads back to the judging table.
