Seemingly fans are still a little uneasy about what the future has in store of Country duo, Florida Georgia Line. A recent Instagram post from Tyler Hubbard with Tim McGraw doesn’t seem to help the rumor mill either.
Florida Georgia Line explains they are doing solo projects, but confirm they are not breaking up.
Just days after Florida Georgia Lines’ joint Instagram video announcing plans for the New Year, bandmate, Tyler Hubbard shares a photo with Country music icon, Tim McGraw. In their New Years’ video, Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley assure fans that Florida Georgia Line is not breaking up. However, they also share the news that they are working on solo projects. Seemingly as a consolation, fans are reminded that their fifth studio album, Life Rolls On is set to release in February. Additionally, there is some speculation that fans may hear from the bandmates’ individual projects as soon as Summer 2021.
This may be a little long but it’s real and that’s what FGL is all about. We love our fans and want to share with you guys everything we are working on and excited about this year. Here’s to 2021 being the BEST YEAR YET. Let’s gooooo! pic.twitter.com/1tYzVGpLI6

Tyler Hubbard shares an Instagram photo with Tim McGraw.
Unfortunately, it seems that the reassurance they gave fans doesn’t last long. Sunday evening (Jan. 3), Tyler Hubbard takes to Instagram and shares a black and white photo of himself with Tim McGraw. The two Country singers are smiling and it appears that they are having a great time. Hubbard’s caption seems to create more questions than it answers. “Me and Tim been up to something special. Can’t wait to share with ya’ll.”
Since there is no mention of bandmate, Brian Kelley, it seems safe to say that McGraw and Hubbard are working on something for Hubbard’s solo endeavors. In their New Year’s video, both members of Florida Georgia Line confirm collaborations on their solo projects. However, until today, they didn’t confirm who they are collaborating with.
Fans react to Florida Georgia Line, Tyler Hubbard, and Tim McGraw.
Notably, fans are quick to call out the fact that Brian Kelley isn’t present in the photo. Luckily, Tyler Hubbard responds and points the fan in the direction of Florida Georgia Line’s last Instagram video. Another fan writes, “Are you and Brian breaking up? Y’all don’t seem to be getting along? Will this be the last album for Florida Georgia Line?” Unfortunately, at this time, Hubbard hasn’t responded.
Other than concern, it seems that most of the other comments are excited and supportive. Most of the comments seem to mirror the sentiments that the Tyler Hubbard and Tim McGraw collaboration is going to be phenomenal.
