Lauren Alaina gives a heartfelt statement announcing COVID-19 diagnosis and appearance cancelation

Early today, Lauren Alaina gives a heartfelt statement on her social media. Ultimately, the singer has COVID-19 and cancels an acoustic show last minute. She shares, “I am so sad to say I will not be at the acoustic show in Lexington, Kentucky tonight.” This certainly feels like a last-minute announcement.

Notably, Lauren Alaina shares she got her diagnosis yesterday, March 18th. See gives minimal insight into what’s going on in her life due to this. She just says, “I am quarantining and trying to get better.”

The singer shares her symptoms, ‘Some people have it way worse.’

In her Instagram story, she curls up on a couch with her dog. She says the following. “I am resting up and trying to feel a bit better. Some people have it way worse than me – I just have a little bit of shortness of breath, a really bad headache, no taste or smell, pretty bad congestion and I feel pretty tired,” share Lauren Alaina.

Ultimately, Lauren Alaina is in good spirits. She also says on her Instagram Story, “But I overall feel like it’s going to be okay.” Heartwarmingly, she focuses on her dog and says, “and I’ve got this sweet nurse!”

According to her statement, Lauren Alaina is hopeful that COVID-19 won’t keep her down for long. She shares, “Please know I can’t wait to be back- when it is safe for all of us.”

Without a doubt, this wasn’t an easy statement for Lauren Alaina to make. “I’m so disappointed I won’t be at the show,” shares the singer. However, she has a solution to lift her spirits. She asks this of her fans, “but it may help cheer me up a bit if you go and send me videos and pictures tonight.”

Luckily for country music fans, the show isn’t canceled entirely. Lauren Alaina asks fans to, “Please go to the show tonight and celebrate by friends Jon Pardi, Jordan Davis, Travis Denning, and Priscilla Block.”
