Morgan Wallen has just shared heartbreaking news with his fans. It turns out that he isn’t feeling any better after the voice rest that he took. Things are not looking good for the country artist.
Morgan Wallen’s Canceled Concerts
Morgan Wallen originally canceled a concert that was supposed to happen at Ole Miss. He canceled this one right before the concert and fans were already there. Rumors flew that he actually was drunk and had to be taken to the hospital. A security guard shared this news, but Morgan Wallen’s team denied that this was true and said it really was just his voice issues. One fan even demanded that he pay her back $4000 for what she had to spend to go to his concert.
After canceling at Ole Miss, Morgan took off from his next three shows. He was on vocal rest and thought that would be long enough, but it turns out that it wasn’t. Now he is revealing that he has more vocal issues.

Morgan’s New Update
Morgan is now sharing that he will be taking six weeks off from performing. This is right in the middle of a big tour, so the timing is terrible. Reports are that doctors told him he needs to rest his voice for that long. This should put concerts up until June 20 being canceled. He also won’t be able to perform at the big ACM Awards this Thursday night. Morgan Wallen is up for Entertainer of the Year and was supposed to sing on the show.
In the video clip, he shared that he got scoped yesterday and they told him that he reinjured his vocal chords. The advice of the doctors is that he takes six weeks of vocal rest. They don’t even want him to be talking during this time. He shared that it was fine to talk for things like this video, though. He said that they are working to reschedule all of the dates during this time. Wallen won’t be making any of the festivals during this time frame either, but he hopes to make that right next year. You can check out the video he posted below.

He was told that he could permanently damage his voice if he continued to sing. Morgan Wallen doesn’t want to take that chance. He took 10 days of vocal rest, but that just wasn’t enough.
