Jelly Roll is proving that his wife Bunnie isn’t a gold digger in a new sweet story he shared on a podcast. When they got together, she was the one with the money and he was just living in a van.
Jelly Roll Talks When He Met Bunnie
Jelly Roll was recently on the podcast Bussin’ With the Boys where he talked about meeting Bunnie and having to tell her about the fact that he had a daughter and another on the way. His daughter Bailee Ann was eight-years-old at the time. Bailee’s mom had a substance abuse problem and he was trying to gain custody of her. This wasn’t the only child, though. He also had a son on the way with another woman. This could have made some women run away, but Bunnie didn’t seem to mind at all.

Bunnie Agreed To Help No Matter What
Jelly Roll talked about how Bunnie told him she would help him no matter what. It didn’t matter if they worked out, she was going to help him get custody of his little girl. Here is what he explained.
“I don’t have a house. I’m homeless. So she’s like, ‘Well, the first thing we have to do is get you somewhere to live in Nashville.’ I was like, ‘Well, I can’t put it in my name. I’m a felon. I don’t have enough proof of income to get the kind of place we’d need to get her in the right school district.’ Bunnie’s like, ‘Let’s just go get a condo so you have a bedroom for her.”
He then started crying telling the story about how Bunnie helped him. Jelly Roll said, “No matter what happens with us, I’m gonna help you get this little girl.’ And I was like, ‘Man, what character.”
Bunnie explained that when they went to Bailee’s house she was taking care of her cousins and was also helping feed them. She didn’t even have her own bed. She revealed that it broke her heart to see that.

These two were able to make their relationship work, but Bunnie had shared that she would help if they worked out or not. She was by his side while he got custody of his daughter Bailee and now that they are married she is helping to raise her.
