Is the first American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson done with touring for good now? The mother of two has so much going on in her life with her talk show moving and other projects. She is always dedicated to music but will she go back on the road? Or, is she content with the life that she currently has? Read on for more details on what the singer has planned for her future.

Is Kelly Clarkson done with touring? She got her start on the popular reality singing competition, American Idol. In fact, she was the first winner over two decades ago. Since then, she has become music royalty but she also made a name for herself as a talk show host on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Celebrities and musicians love to sit down and chat with her while she covers the most popular songs ever made in her own Kelly style. Now, the show is making a big move to New York City which is perfect for her and her two children. There are many benefits but this will give the show a fresh new start all around.

That being said, does this mean that Kelly Clarkson will stop touring? According to yahoo!, she shared details of what her future holds when she appeared on The Today Show. She was chatting about Chemistry which is her highly-anticipated new album. Plus, Clarkson was ready to share details regarding her relocation from California to NYC. All of this is really big and exciting but her diehard fans want to see her live and in person, singing the songs that were the soundtrack to their lives.

Kelly will do a short Las Vegas residency as Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban have done. Of course, not everyone can get to Vegas and this is not nearly enough time to catch her. So, will she finally get back on the road? “I do actually love touring, going to different places and being on stage. It’s a different life, right? But it is incredibly hard to do that if you’re trying to be a very present parent, plus a talk show from 9 to 5,” Clarkson explained.

Does this mean that Kelly Clarkson is settling down and will just do the occasional residency? It just seems that Kelly has a lot of balls in the air so that is what is prohibiting her from committing to the tour life. “It’s just a lot so if I weren’t doing the talk show I would [tour more], but it’s just that I’m on a new path,” she shared. Okay, so there is hope in the future but when, that is unknown.
