Kelly Clarkson, currently on her residency, Chemistry: An Intimate Evening, is beginning to let her two kids be a part of her music career. Coming up, she hinted that her daughter would also be appearing in Kelly’s album. Is this a smart decision, letting her kids into stardom and glaring spotlights this early?

Kelly Clarkson Brings Unexpected Guests On Stage This Week

Kelly Clarkson introduced two special guests onto the stage at The Bakkt Theater located on the Las Vegas Strip. During Kelly’s August 18th, 2023 performance, two young kids climbed in front of a large audience. Those two children were Kelly’s son, 7-year-old Remington Alexander, and daughter, 9-year-old River Rose.

The first to come on stage is Kelly’s daughter, River. She runs up to her mom and hugs her with a bright smile on her young face. She fidgets a bit, saying quietly into the microphone that she was scared, but that smile still gleamed. Kelly comforts her daughter and tells River that she killed it with soundcheck. Seconds later, they begin singing Clarkson’s song, “Heartbeat Song.” The mother and daughter stare brightly at each other as they each sing confidently, a memory that will surely stay with them for years to come.

As River Rose warms up, she dances and performs with just as much passion as her mother, possibly more. After the performance, the two hug each other tightly while the crowd goes wild. River exits the stage, opening the space for her younger brother, Remy.

Remington ran onto the stage and hugged his mom, Kelly Clarkson. She asks him if he is ready to dance, to which he simply responds by swaying his arms enthusiastically. Unlike his sister, Remy does not seem to be a shy performer. He dances his heart out while Kelly sings “Whole Lotta Woman.” They end the song with a big hug while the crowd chants the young boy’s name.

River Rose’s Role In Kelly’s New Album

Excitement is bubbling as the release date for Kelly Clarkson’s new album, Chemistry, comes nearer and nearer. This will be the 41-year-old singer’s 10th studio album, dropping September 22nd, 2023. With these new shows, it is clear that Kelly is not afraid to share the spotlight with her two children. She is taking things a step further by including her daughter, River Rose, in this upcoming album. On her unreleased song, “You Don’t Make Me Cry,” Her new favorite collaborator will join her, River.

According to an article on Yahoo!life, River Rose is desperate to say the word “ass” in a song. Will her mother, Kelly, cave and let her slip a bad word or two? Time will tell. With River’s stage fright, further shows may be anxiety-inducing, but she performed well with her mom despite the pressure. It is likely Kelly Clarkson will bring her to future performances to sing their new duet. There lies an exciting future ahead for this young star.
