Did Scotty McCreery Just Hint At New Music?
Two years ago, the country singer released his fifth studio album titled “Same Truck.” Which had fans super excited to hear. In the midst of it all, Scotty McCreery has added another role to his list, dad. He and his wife Gabi Dugal have been married for five years. Their son Avery was born in October of last year. This is a new experience for him, but it seems fatherhood may have inspired a different type of sound in his music. Since he has entered a new stage in his life as a dad, why not reflect that in new music? There are many fans that could relate.
It looks like Scotty would agree, because he gave fans a sneak peek during recent performances and he took it to social media as well. Yesterday he posted on Twitter a photo of him in what looks like a music video or it could be a photo for an album cover. Along with the photo, his caption stated, “It lookin like my plan didn’t work out at all.” This got fans wondering what the musician could be working and they are really curious to know what’s happening.

So Will Fans Get What They Want?
Scotty hasn’t went into further details about his plans or when he is going to release a new album. However, that’s not to say he isn’t working on anything. In fact, in an interview with Journal & Courier he explained, “We got a lot of new music we’re working on.” Going into further detail by saying, “For me, it’s kind of fun to play some songs that might be recorded, might not be recorded.” You’re probably thinking, why is he doing this? There’s a good reason for that. He goes on to say, “Playing off the crowd, seeing what they think, seeing how their reaction is.”
Whenever his new music and album come out, it will show his love for country music. It will also be inspired by experiences he going through in life. Like a lot of artists, he uses his life to connect with their fans and as a way to tell his story, so people can really feel what he has gone through, good or not so-good. His wife and son seem to have inspired a lot of these good moments for him.
