Jelly Roll has dropped major pounds in a really short period of time. Yet, was the country superstar even planning on doing this or did it just happen? More so, how much weight has he lost and how long did it take him to do so? Read on for all of the details.
Jelly Roll Drops Major Pounds In No Time
Fans were shocked when they first saw Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunnie XO together. He was a big guy, covered in tattoos while she was this blonde bombshell with a killer body. There had to be something to it so some just believed that she was a gold digger. Actually, they were the perfect match as they wanted to come up in the world and make better choices together. JR and Bunnie came together in 2015 to come up with their goals, a five-year plan for themselves. They have since achieved everything they wanted and more so now, they are looking ahead to forever.
Now, it seems like Jelly Roll wants to ensure there is a forever to live for. According to Country Now, he dropped twenty-three pounds in just two weeks. This was something he had been working on for some time. Back in February 2023, JR tweeted that he was going to start taking care of his health. He noted that he was eating better and working out daily, making this a part of his life.
Just know that I’m doing my part — I’m working out daily… praying and meditating …. Eating better – losing weight. Making sure I bring the best version of me on my new album and this tour… this is what growth and gratitude look like in real time.

In a recent Instagram video, his nutritionist, Ian Larios made a quick appearance. He shared this: “Another successful weigh-in for Jelly, just past the two-week mark. So far on this tour, he has lost 23 pounds.” Larios seemed really proud of his client but even more than that, it appeared that everyone was just having the best time together.

Praise Him
When fans saw how much weight he had lost, they immediately sent him praise. “You go jelly! 23 pounds is something to be proud of,” one follower wrote. Another added: “Keep at it Jelly. You can do this!!!! You have such a purpose in this world. Weight loss is NOT easy but you got this 💪🏼.” Jelly Roll should be immensely proud of all that he has achieved thus far and the sky is clearly the limit for him.
