Is Jelly Roll preparing to tie the knot all over again? After all, the country music sensation has been happily married to blonde bombshell, Bunnie for over six years. So, what is the deal with him and another wedding? Read on for all of the details.
Jelly Roll Tying The Knot Again?
For the last six years, Jelly Roll has been happily married to Bunnie. She has become a podcast superstar and made a name for herself in her own right. Along with that, they raised his teenage daughter, Bailee together plus she introduced his son, Noah to the world. Yet, he just mentioned that he is getting married again. As it turns out, JR and Bunnie have decided to renew their vows. The two started dating in 2015 and then got engaged the following year. Yet, their wedding was more spontaneous than planned out so it left a lot of questions.
So, what does this second wedding hold for the couple and will it be elaborate and lavish? More so, why are they doing it now and what questions do they need to be answered? According to Music Mayhem, Jelly Roll and Bunnie will renew their vows to commemorate seven years of marriage. Plus, they will be doing it to actually give themselves an actual anniversary date. During an appearance on The Bobby Bones Show, JR shared all of the details and the origin story.
“So, we’ve got one of those old stories that we don’t know our anniversary. And this is why. I had asked her at the Tin Roof, here in Nashville, to marry me. And one night, we were in there drinking, and we were talking about it. I was like, ‘We should just do it.’ She was like, ‘I’m in.’ I mean, it was a little more drunkenly romantic,” Jelly Roll shared. Then, he proposed again while in Vegas at a show, she said yes, and off they went.
Second Time’s A Charm
As to why they do not actually know their anniversary, Jelly Roll shared that they sealed the deal at 1 am. Therefore, they let them pick their date. That is all about to change with the vow renewal. When they get married this time around, at the exact same location, this will forever be their new anniversary. “This year, we will play Vegas on our anniversary, somewhere between August 30th and September 1st. So when I play Vegas that night, we’re going to leave the show, go straight back to the little chapel we got married at, and do it again.”
So, what will their official wedding anniversary be going forward? Jelly Roll said it will be September 1st. Congrats to the happy couple and may they have everlasting love.
