At just 39 years old, Miranda Lambert already solidified herself as a powerhouse in country music. Besides becoming the first solo artist to top the Billboard Country Airplay chart since 2012, she also received more honors at the Academy of Country Music Awards than any other artist in its history. She narrowly surpassed another legendary country singer, Reba McEntire. But even though Lambert continues to expand her career, it seems that the singer wins in all aspects of life, even when it comes to horse shows.
While breaking into the industry back in 2000, Miranda Lambert is finally taking some time to herself. Recently, the singer gave fans an inside look at what her life off the stage looks like. She posted a collage of photos that included sunshine, her husband Brendan McLoughlin, and her horse, who supposedly goes by the name Dallas. Her fun didn’t stop there as she jetted overseas, visiting friends in Switzerland, Austria, and even Germany.
Not The Horse’s First Rodeo
Although Miranda Lambert prepares for her Idyllwind Summer clothing line in 2024, apparently, she recently participated in a horse show. And as mentioned above, winning seems to be in her blood. Fashioned with ribbons and a stylish belt buckle, Lambert posted another series of photos, including one of her standing beside a horse that is the breed Gypsy Vanner.
Miranda Lambert captioned the collage, noting, “First horse show since 2019! What a weekend.” While it’s unknown which place she came in, numerous photos show her holding ribbons and even a plague. Given Lambert’s enthusiasm, it’s safe to say the Gypsy Vanner performed well.

Gaining over 20,000 likes, fans loved the photos, with one admitting, “I’m so curious to know what all the others think when they find out they’re competing against THE Miranda Lambert. I think I’d fall off my horse.”
Another fan seemed to recognize the Gypsy Vanner as being the same horse used in her music video for “Settling Down.” When asked about the similarities, Lambert revealed it was the same horse.
Miranda Lambert’s Next Adventure Awaits
While fans love the behind-the-scenes look into Miranda Lambert’s life in Nashville, many wonder what is next for the singer. After 20 years with Sony Music, the singer, earlier this year, announced she was leaving the label. At the time, she explained, “I wouldn’t be true to myself if I wasn’t constantly looking for the next challenge and a new way to stretch my creativity.” She added, “I’ve decided to say goodbye to my Sony family. I can’t wait to see what the next adventure holds.”
Since leaving the label, Miranda Lambert has found no problem when it comes to work. She worked with Jelly Roll and even performed alongside Leon Bridges for “If You Were Mine.”
