Caroline, Luke Bryan’s wife, shares her funny first impression of him.

Luke and his wife, Caroline, celebrated their seventeenth wedding anniversary on, December, 8, 2023. Most people know that they met in college, but they have recently shared details about their very first impressions of each other.

Caroline revealed in a vide interview, “It took me a couple of days to realize that this was a real character. This wasn’t just some drunk college guy, this is how he acts.”

Where Luke Bryan And Caroline Bryan Met

It was Luke who made the first move at, “the local hangout,” a bar named, Dingus McGee’s. Caroline admitted that her first thought was that he had a “big personality with the loud mouth.”

Eventually, she warmed up to the country superstar and she ultimately fell in love with him and his big personality. And for Luke, it definitely didn’t take long for him to fall for his beautiful future bride after the first night.

Luke grinned and stated, “The next morning, I woke up and was like, ‘Oh my God, that’s who I’m going after, right there.”

 

Luke and his wife are ambassadors for the Jockey brand and have previously shared some personal details about their lives in a video series called, “Intimate Moments.”

A second clip, Caroline admits that she was the first on to say “I love you.” She remembers the moment her future husbands relieved response.

Caroline took to social media on December 8, to share a goofy but sweet anniversary post for her husband:

“Happy 17th anniversary!!!! Pretty impressive how we’ve managed to tolerate each other for so long!!! I love you!  @lukebryan”

Fans commented, “Happy Anniversary to my favorite country music couple around.”

Another fan, “Happy Anniversary. You both are beautiful people and have a wonderful marriage. I wish you many more to come.”

“Happy Anniversary, hope to see you in New Hampshire over the summer of 2024,” stated a third fan.

Happily Little Family

Luke and Caroline are parent’s to their two sons, Thomas “Bo” Boyer Bryan, 15, and Tatum “Tate” Christopher Bryan, 13. Luke claims, this current stage with his sons is so far, the most exciting of them all.

Luke told PEOPLE, “As they grow older, it’s easier to let them take along. They become little men and they become functional little microcosms of me. Their personalities are really different… They become your buddies. I mean, they’re still your kids. You still have to do the discipline and you still have to teach them right from wrong. But, they really morph into your buddies.”

The couple also helped raise their nephew, Tilden Cheshire, and nieces, Jordan and Kris Cheshire following their parents’ deaths. Luke’s sister, Kelly, died of undetermined causes in 2007; seven years later, Luke’s brother-in-law, Ben, died of a heart attack. Tilden lived with them full time, but their nieces did not.
