The Voice coaches, Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire are feeling the pressure, as the show focuses on them and shows what they are really like.
The show is currently in its 24th season on NBC. Stars – Gwen Stefani, John Legend, Niall Horan, and Reba McEntire, are this season’s coaches and they are battling for the title of winning coach.
Since the first of the Live Shows aired on December 4th and 5th, only 9 singers still remain.
Hear From Contestant’s Of The Voice
Ruby Leigh, a contestant for season 24 of The Voice stated, ” Reba is so incredibly versed in different areas of music and she has a great knowledge of music and well, she’s REBA.”
Bias stated, “My favorite thing about having Gwen Stefani as my coach is seeing how much she truly cares about each artist who is on her team. You can see her heart when you look at her. She wants what is best for each individual artist and whatever she can do to help them get there, is what she is going to do.”
The Story Of Blake Shelton
Kara Tenae, a contestant on The Voice stated, “One thing I can say is that I truly respect Blake and his contribution to the music and to The Voice, because he’s the “OG”and an icon! Being that he’s married to my coach I guess you can say in a way he has been a part of my coaching because I’m sure Gwen has had conversations about her team with him and I’m pretty sure he’s given his opinion with regards to all of us!”
Jacquie Roar, another contestant on The Voice, “Blake meant it when he said it was his last season, I guess I was hoping he would be our mega mentor but it wasn’t in the stars. However, I was extremely grateful for Wynona Judd because she doesn’t hold back when she wants something, and I LOVE when people are just blunt with me or with people around me.”

Behind The Scenes
“There’s a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff that people don’t realize. For instance, song choices. Although we get to pick them, sometimes our coach vetoes our choices and suggests a song they really believe we can blow out of the water. Sometimes that means we have to learn a new song we’ve never heard so the pressure is on,” stated JR.
Another contestant, B, “Just because we are moving forward into the live rounds, doesn’t mean I’m going to change how I am to fit a mold. My coach has told me that time and time again. She tells me to keep my character, stay humble, and to continue my light. That’s what has helped me the best. Her words confirming who I am not only as an artist, but as a person, far exceeds any other coaching advice she could give.”
The Impact Of Winning
Contestants talk about how the impact of winning The Voice would change their life. JR stated, “It would be life changing! It will only be the beginning and I will have to keep working my butt off to get my record out.” followed by RL with, “Personally, it would be a feeling of great accomplishment. As for my career, it will definitely springboard to bigger venues and events!”
