She Ain’t A Gold Digger
Jelly Roll (real name Jason DeFord) and Bunnie XO (real name Alyssa) get a lot of smack talk surrounding them since he is a country star and she isn’t. People sure like to talk when a couple’s looks don’t line up with their standards or notions. Jelly Roll has set the record straight though, sharing that Bunnie had the money when they first met. He was living out of his van and was trying to get custody of his little girl, Bailee at the time. Did that scare Bunnie off though? Nope! She jumped into being a stepmom and helped him get custody! That’s true love for you!
Love At First Sight
Speaking of true love, the “Son Of A Sinner” singer and Bunnie met when they locked eyes at one of his concerts before he was even discovered. She said he had the saddest eyes in the room and she was hooked. She was in a relationship at the time but they talked backstage and stayed friends. When she became single not too long after, they got together and the rest is history.
Going To The Chapel
In 2016, Bunnie and Jelly Roll got married at A Stained Glass Wedding Chapel in Bunnie’s hometown of Las Vegas. So here’s where the story becomes kind of funny. Jelly and Bunnie apparently got married “while on a bender” and can’t actually remember the real date. According to a quote from People magazine, “Because we got married at like 1 o’clock in the morning, they let us pick our anniversary so we don’t know which day we actually got married on… This year, we will play Vegas on our anniversary, somewhere between August 30th and Sept. 1,” he continued. “So when I play Vegas that night, we’re going to leave the show, go straight back to the little chapel we got married at, and do it again. And this way, we’re going to have a real date.”

Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO did indeed go back to that same chapel and renewed their vows on September 1st this year, complete with a white gown and tux this time! They’re adorable, honestly.
