Viral Singer Oliver Anthony Crashes ATV
Oliver Anthony’s music has reached millions of listeners in a short amount of time. The widely unknown artist found overnight success earlier this year when his song “Rich Men North of Richmond” went viral. Now the singer is working on a new album and promoting his upcoming tour, all without a record label behind him.
Despite his newfound fame, Oliver Anthony continues to live modestly in Virginia. But a man can’t resist his toys, can he? Oliver Anthony’s toys include a two-seater ATV, though he may think twice before taking it out for another joy ride.
Earlier this month, Oliver Anthony took to his social media to share a scary experience with his followers. He shared a video clip of him climbing a hill in the buggy.
But halfway through the climb, the ATV loses traction and careens over with the singer in it. “I Can’t Keep Nothin’ Nice,” he joked in the Instagram caption.

Oliver Anthony Opens Show With Powerful Message
Oliver Anthony has had a huge year. In addition to successfully kicking off his music career, he welcomed a new baby into the family.
While Oliver Anthony stays away from certain aspects of Nashville, he couldn’t resist one historic location. The singer made his debut at the famous Grand Ole Opry on December 17.
The audience packed into the Ryman Auditorium heard a powerful message during Oliver Anthony’s time in the sacred circle.
He shared a video on his YouTube channel of him reading from the bible during his Grand Ole Opry debut.
In the video’s description, Oliver Anthony expanded on his faith.
“Scripture serves as certainty in an uncertain time. I have found that books like Ecclesiastes, Proverbs and the words of Jesus contain practical and honest life advice. I regrettably let the “holier than thou” type people turn me away from God at a young age. Am thankful to have the opportunity to share this with you.“ – Oliver Anthony.
According to churchleaders.com, the singer read from Matthew 24:32-34. This isn’t the first time Oliver Anthony has read scripture at one of his performances, and it likely won’t be the last.
The comments on the YouTube clip praised him for including his faith in his music.
- I love this man so much. He found himself with a massive platform to speak to the world, and decided that all he should so with it is to sing his songs and recite the words of scripture.
