Over the last several months, fans have seen Kelly Clarkson undergo a dramatic transformation. Since relocating to New York City from California with her family and talk show, she has dropped around fifty pounds. It has changed her entire look, from the way she dresses to how she carries herself. Additionally, she added fun and funky face-framing bangs and looks absolutely stunning. It is a new Kelly which is reminiscent of her a decade ago and fans seem to love it. Of course, there are some people who question how she dropped the weight while others just love her sparkly personality.

Sadly, while she was married to Brandon Blackstock, Kelly was not recognized for being a beautiful soul inside and out. According to Taste of Country, Kelly’s ex had some choice words for her when she was getting ready to be a coach on the hit singing reality competition, The Voice. Apparently, she had expressed her desire to join the panel but her ex-husband claimed they were “looking for a more s*x symbol type” aka Rihanna. Kelly’s lawyer questioned her as to how she could remember such specifics of this conversation.

She shared: “Well, a wife doesn’t forget a time she gets told she’s not a s*x symbol, so that stays.” Brandon also claimed to Kelly that the show wanted someone more diverse. They believed that Blake Shelton, who was with The Voice since the beginning, and Kelly were too similar. There were some hardball tactics but Kelly did make it onto the show as a coach. Furthermore, she became a fan favorite and her team won the show four times. So, it showed that she was the full package with quite the ear for success.

Though Brandon Blackstock said Kelly Clarkson was not “sexy” enough for The Voice, the joke is now on him. Gwen Stefani did not have a great return for Season 24. It made viewers miss Kelly so much that they demanded she return. In fact, they wanted Gwen fired and Kelly brought back immediately but that is not happening any time soon. Kelly lives on the East Coast, has her talk show, two children, her music, and a new SiriusXM radio station. So, sadly she does not have the time for the show any longer.
