Morgan Wallen has just signed a deal with Warner Chappell Music. This is a global publishing deal. It will allow Wallen to sign other songwriters with the music company.
Who Is Morgan Wallen?
Morgan Wallen is an extremely talented country music songwriter. He has written songs for the likes of Keith Urban, Jason Aldean and Kane Brown. Of course, he has also written for countless other country music singers.
Morgan was named the Songwriter of the Year in 2023 from the BMI Country Music Awards. He has written songs that have reached the multi-platinum level. Wallen’s song “Last Night” was even nominated for a Grammy.

Songs Morgan Wallen Has Written
In addition to writing “Last Night,” Morgan Wallen has also written “Chasin’ You,” “Thought You Should Know” and “7 Summers.” All of these songs have done well in the world of country music.
Morgan Wallen has written songs for several country music stars. He wrote “You Make It Easy.” This song was recorded by Jason Aldean. Wallen also wrote “Wild As Her” which was sung by Corey Kent.

The president and CEO of Warner Chappell Music Nashville, Ben Vaughn, has been raving about Morgan and his songwriting prowess. “…the man from East Tennessee is quickly becoming one of the most important songwriters of this generation,” Vaughn stated. It isn’t just president and CEO of Warner Chappell Music Nashville who is thankful to have Morgan Wallen be a part of their musical team. Jessi Vaughn Stevenson, who is the senior director of A&R and digital, agrees with Ben Vaughn. “Morgan’s songwriting style has been original and distinct from the beginning and it is so exciting to get to work with someone who has seen massive commercial success built on authenticity,” Stevenson said.
Morgan Wallen Is Looking Forward To The New Partnership
Wallen is happy to be a part of Warner Chappell Music. “I look forward to working with Warner Chappell as my new music publishing partner,” the songwriter said. Wallen continued with “I’m honored to use this partnership as an opportunity to give other songwriters a helping hand. Thanks to Ben, Phil [May], Jessi and their great team.”
At the time of publication, it was unknown which other songwriters Morgan Wallen was going to give a “helping hand.” There are so many songwriters in the country music world who would love to join the team at Warner Chappell Music. Undoubtedly, those songwriters would love a little help from a brilliant and prolific songwriter like Wallen.
