Lainey Wilson sent out an unusual Valentine to an unusual recipient this year. The “Watermelon Moonshine” singer sent a very special Valentine’s Day love letter to one one her biggest loves – country music. She posted her love letter to the entire genre of country music, in a video form, on Instagram.
Lainey Wilson’s Unusual Love Letter To All Of Country Music
Lainey Wilson didn’t mince words when she described her love for country music. She was just as plain-spoken when she expressed how much country music means to her. “Country music isn’t just a genre for those of us that live it,” the country music megastar said. “It’s a lifestyle. It’s the way we were raised and the way that we talk, it’s the way we eat, breathe, sleep, and survive.”
Lainey Wilson went on to describe the country music lifestyle. “It’s putting in the hard work to break a wild horse or pull a tractor out of the mud and the endurance to get up and do it all over again,” she said. “It’s growin’ up knowin’ all the words to Willie, Waylon, Hank, and Dolly and family trips to Gatlinburg, Dollywood, and the Grand Ole Opry.” Her statements do an excellent job explaining how millions of people feel about their country music lifestyle.
The “Wildflowers And Wild Horses” singer continued her unusual love letter by commenting on how popular country music is becoming. “Seein’ the world be reminded of and start to love the lifestyle that we’ve always known has put a big ol’ smile on my face,” she said. She finished her Valentine’s Day love letter with “That’s why I’m so proud to say that country’s cool again.”

“Country’s Cool Again” Released
By stating “country’s cool again,” Lainey Wilson revealed the title of her new single. That single came out on February 17. “Country’s Cool Again” will be her first new release since “Bell Bottom Country.”
As many of you know, Lainey Wilson’s album, Bell Bottom Country, won her a Grammy earlier this year. That Grammy was for Best Country Album. That was just one of the many awards the “This One’s Gonna Cost Me” singer has won. She also won the Country Music Association award for Entertainer of the Year. If “Country’s Cool Again” is like the rest of Lainey Wilson’s music, there is no doubt it will be winning all sorts of awards too.
