It appears all the problems and troubles Blake Shelton and his wife, Gwen Stefani, have not come between him and his stepson, Apollo Rossdale. It also looks like those problems and troubles have not impacted the “Boys ‘Round Here” singer’s interactions with Gavin Rossdale. Rossdale is the ex-husband of Stefani and Apollo’s father. This became evident when both Shelton and Rossdale were seen supporting Apollo at the nine-year-old’s flag football game without Gwen Stefani.
The Flag Football Game
Both Blake Shelton and Gavin Rossdale were photographed while attending Apollo Rossdale’s flag football game. The two appeared to have taken turns being on the sidelines, cheering for Apollo as he played. Shelton was photographed with the young football player on the track which encircled the football field. He was even photographed walking with his stepson.
The photographs taken at the game did not show Shelton and Rossdale interacting with each other. However, both appeared happy and comfortable being there supporting Blake Shelton’s stepson.

How Do Gwen Stefani And Gavin Rossdale Co-Parent?
“We’re really different people,” Gavin Rossdale admitted about Gwen Stefani and himself. “I don’t think there’s much similarity in the way we bring them up, but I think that gives them an incredible perspective to then choose which pieces of those two lives they’d like to inherit and move on with and which part of themselves come out of the whole process.”
Rossdale went on to say how he and Gwen Stefani do not “co-parent.” Instead, he stated, “I think we just parent.” It appears, however they are doing it, their children seem to be adjusting well.

Is Blake Shelton A Good Stepfather?
Blake Shelton has been in Gwen Stefani’s children’s lives for quite a while now. They met while they were both judges on The Voice. Blake Shelton was still married to his second wife, the “Gunpowder And Lead” singer Miranda Lambert. Stefani was also married, to Gavin Rossdale, at the time.
Apollo Rossdale was just a baby when he met Blake Shelton. By all accounts, the two appear to have a great bond. Shelton admits he loves it when Apollo dresses like him.
“When he puts on the jeans and boots it’s like, you know, it just warms my heart,” Shelton shared. “I mean, it really does to see him have a little bit of country flair to what he wears.” That sounds like something a good stepfather would say.
