Both the “Gunpowder and Lead” singer and the “She’s In Love With Boy” singer have published cookbooks. Because of this, Trisha Yearwood has just received a huge compliment from Miranda Lambert.
The Country Singers’ Cookbook
Both Lambert and Yearwood have published cookbooks. Both of their books feature down-home, country recipes. These cookbooks also contain both old and new family recipes.
Miranda Lambert titled her first-ever cookbook Y’all Eat Yet? Welcome to the Pretty B*tchin’ Kitchen. This title seems to fit the personality of Blake Shelton’s ex-wife perfectly.
Trisha Yearwood titled her first cook Georgia Cooking in an Oklahoma Kitchen. This cookbook’s title paid homage to her husband, Garth Brooks’ home state. Oklahoma is also Blake Shelton’s home state. These two Okie singers grew up just a few short hours from each other. Garth Brooks is from Yukon, Oklahoma and Blake Shelton is from Ada, Oklahoma.
Miranda Lambert, Trisha Yearwood’s Books Doing Well
Both Miranda Lambert and Trisha Yearwood’s cookbooks have done quite well when it comes to sales. Lambert’s Y’all Eat Yet? Welcome to the Pretty B*tchin’ Kitchen was released just over 11 months ago in April of 2023. It went on be on the New York Times‘ best-sellers list. Lambert’s cookbook peaked at #3 on the How To, Advice & Miscellaneous Books list put out by the New York Times.
The “Cowboys Are My Weakness” singer’s Georgia Cooking in an Oklahoma Kitchen was also on the New York Times‘ best-sellers list. Trisha Yearwood has written multiple cookbooks. All of them have sold well. With all of her fans, this is no surprise.
More Similarities With Miranda Lambert And Yearwood
Both Miranda Lambert and Trisha Yearwood have more in common than just being country music superstars and writing cookbooks. Both are known for giving back to their communities.
Lambert has her charity, MuttsNation Foundation. This is a non-profit organization that helpless homeless dogs. It was just last month when Trisha Yearwood earned the first-ever CMT June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award. She earned this award due to her work with Habitat For Humanity.

Trisha Yearwood is quite pleased with the compliment given to her by Lambert. That compliment was Lambert asking to allowed to put one of Yearwood’s recipes in Y’all Eat Yet? Welcome to the Pretty B*tchin’ Kitchen. The recipe was a turkey Lambert and her family have used for years.
