Jelly Roll is loved by millions after his breakthrough year in country music in 2023. Due to this, listeners are eager to grab tickets whenever he has a show. Unfortunately for the Son of a Sinner singer, he is facing some major backlash after breaking his promise to fans. What’s the latest with this situation?
Jelly Roll Had A Breakthrough Year In 2023
2023 was a big year for a lot of artists in country music. Luke Combs had a phenomenal year, as did Kane Brown, and even Luke Bryan. However, Jelly Roll had one of the biggest years anyone in the music industry could ever have, as he made a huge splash that not just country music fans took notice of.
Jelly Roll won the CMA for New Artist of the Year in 2023. After everything he has been through to get to this point in his career, even non-country fans agree that Jelly Roll deserves his flowers, and all the recognition he is getting now for the grind that it took to get him here.
Everyone Wants To See A Jelly Roll Show
Seemingly overnight, Jelly Roll is a name that can fill stadiums with ease. There are only a handful of stars in the industry that can command that kind of attention and interest. It wasn’t long ago that the rapper-turned-country singer was struggling, and still trying to make ends meet. Now, he fills seats faster than he can even make them available.
Jelly Roll is prepping for a massive tour of North America, with tickets on sale now. The Beautifully Broken Tour kicks off with its opening date in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 27. The tour will run all the way through October, with the final show being on October 27 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Need A Favor Singer Gets Backlash From Fans
Tickets to Jelly Roll’s upcoming The Beautifully Broken Tour are on sale now. This should be a good thing for his fans, however, the singer is facing a lot of backlash over ticket prices for his tour stops. Jelly Roll has spoken out about ticket prices in the past, and he even made a promise to fans to keep ticket prices at $39.50 as a starting rate.
Unfortunately for fans who are grabbing tickets, this is far from being the case. As an example, before taking into account any additional fees, the lowest starting price for a ticket to the first show in Salt Lake City is $76. This is almost double the starting rate that the singer initially promised. This isn’t going to stop people from going to the shows, but, ticket buyers are not happy about it.
- One fan wrote: “As long as people keep paying these prices Live Nation will keep charging them. Boycott the greedy bastards and see if anything changes. Smaller shows are always better.”
