Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo first met when he was sleeping in a van. He may be selling out stadiums these days, and he may be a household name, but, when these two met, there were barely any people lining up to see him perform. This is absolutely one of those situations where Jelly and Bunnie crossed paths well before his star rose to what it is now.
The pair first met back in 2015. Bunnie said in previous interviews that there was a soul connection when they first met. They both agree that neither one of them are each other’s type, and yet, there was a magnetic pull that drew them to each other.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo have arguably one of the strangest paths to a fairytale romance you could possibly have. Their love is by no means a straight line, and not like anything you’d get from a Disney movie. In fact, according to Bunnie, it wasn’t until the pair broke up in 2018 that the groundwork for the relationship they have now began to form.
Bunnie recently shared a TikTok with her husband. These days, they are stronger than ever as a couple. With this recent TikTok, Bunnie reflected on how their breaking up in 2018 changed the course of both of their lives.

Absence Made The Heart Grown Fonder For Jelly Roll And Bunnie Xo
One of two things tends to happen when you break up with someone. You either realize how much more peaceful your life is without the other person, or, you realize how much more empty your life is without them. In Jelly and Bunnie’s case, it took them throwing in the towel to ultimately realize that they didn’t want to do life without each other.
The way Bunnie sees her relationship with Jelly Roll, she added: “Our castle in the sand had to crumble so we could rebuild on solid ground.”
That patience and perseverance paid off. Jelly Roll is now one of the most in-demand people in music today, and he and Bunnie get to enjoy all of that success together as they continue to add more mileage to the wild ride they chose to take together.
