Try That In A Small Town Singer Set To Return To CMT Music Awards 2024
Country Music Television pulled Aldean’s single from its rotation at the time following the backlash he received for it. Jason Aldean is set to perform at the upcoming 2024 CMT Music Awards. He will take the stage to sing his song Let Your Boys Be Country.
Despite all of the backlash and controversy that his single generated, the singer has no regrets about releasing it. He stands by his art and his message, even as many accused him of being pro-gun, anti-law enforcement, and more.
After pulling Try That In A Small Town from its rotation a year ago, having Aldean perform at the 2024 CMT Music Awards could be something of an olive branch.
Surely, his fans will be looking forward to seeing him perform when the 2024 CMT Music Awards airs on Sunday, April 7 at 8 pm Eastern on CBS. The program will also be available to stream on Paramount+.
