Morgan Wallen made headlines for all the wrong reasons following a drunken rage. During the alcohol-fueled outburst, the singer threw a chair at police, leading to his arrest. So, what led the typically cool and composed celeb to come unhinged the way he did?
Morgan Wallen Arrested After Alcohol-Fueled Violent Act
When Morgan Wallen is in the headlines, it’s typically to announce new music, a new tour, or a new brand partnership. Recently, however, the Wasted on You singer was indeed wasted at a Nashville bar, and it wasn’t a good look for him.
At one point as Wallen continued to get plastered with more alcohol, he threw a chair from the rooftop where he was drinking. Making matters worse, he threw the chair at police down below, leading to his eventual arrest over the incident.
This entire scenario sounds like the subject of a Morgan Wallen music video. Unfortunately for Wallen, this was real life, which led to real consequences.
What Was Wallen Charged With?
It turns out, Morgan Wallen was partying it up at Eric Church’s new bar called Chiefs. The bar is in Downtown Nashville. After one too many, Wallen threw a chair from the sixth floor of the rooftop bar, which landed near police officers down below.
This was more than enough to put the singer in cuffs and charge him. According to the New York Post, the officers said the chair Wallen threw landed just three feet away from them. So, it was certainly a close call. The singer was charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of disorderly conduct.
Morgan Wallen has been known as a bad boy of country music. Not surprisingly, the singer smiled, flashing his pearly whites for his mugshot. This will no doubt bolster that bad-boy image. However, many of his fans are curious about what inspired this alcohol-fueled rage.
What’s The Real Reason Behind This Recent Violent Outburst?
With Morgan Wallen’s recent violent outburst, fans have been wondering what could be behind this. An inside source recently spilled that these drunken antics were inspired by Morgan’s ex, KT Smith. Wallen’s ex-fiance recently married another man named Luke Scornavacco.
According to the source, news of the marriage “crushed” Wallen. The source went on to say: “Whatever happened at that bar had to be really hitting him in the face over losing the love of his life.”

Despite calling off their engagement, Wallen and Smith welcomed a son, Indigo, in 2020. The source went on to allege: “Morgan has never gotten over her even though he couldn’t stay faithful to her. And now another man is going to be raising his son.”
