Jelly Roll is continuing to make the world a better place and he recently did so by changing a bullied girl’s life forever. He has always reached out and tried to do the best for others after having been in prison. More so, he came out victorious and wants to show everyone else that the same is possible. So, what exactly did Jelly do? Keep reading for more details.
Jelly Roll Changes Bullied Girl’s Life Forever
It has been a long road for Jelly Roll to get to where he is today. He had been in jail more times than he would like to recall though he says he was a horrible criminal. More so, he was not even present when his daughter, Bailee Ann was born. Jelly was locked up and missed the whole experience but now, he is making up for it tenfold. He has full custody of Bailee while sharing custody of his secondborn, Noah. Additionally, he travels to different prisons to inspire the inmates that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Along with his wife, Bunnie XO, they are rooting for the underdog and will stop a concert for a fan in need or one with a story. Jelly has seen friends from his younger days and will immediately make time for them in the middle of a show. Now, according to The Sun, he once again proved what a stand-up guy he is when he caught a concertgoer who had a plea for him. He was performing on June 17th at Assembly Food Hall’s Skydeck where Jelly put on a free show.
Joy Gadalla had just graduated from high school and had waited in line for five hours. She then typed: “Please pay my tuition” on her phone screen. Jelly happened to see it and let Joy know that she would be covered for $40,000 a year at Belmont University. She later shared that she had been sober for a year and seven months which she attributed to Jelly. More so, she had been homeschooled since 7th grade due to bullying.
Bright Future Ahead
Joy Gadalla graduated with a 3.8 GPA and had just decided to make Criminal Justice her major. Jelly Roll has been a huge influence and now, he is taking her all the way to where her dreams can truly come true. Unfortunately, it quickly clicked that she may not be able to afford her dream:
“I was crying, I was stressing. I took a moment to breathe and pray, and I knew that everything was going to be okay. I knew God was going to take care of everything.”
Jelly’s team has been in contact yet the amount of how much they are paying has not been set in stone. However, he seems to be a man of his word so this should be just fine. Hopefully, all of Joy’s dreams truly come true.
