Jelly Roll Song Chosen For New Football Game Day Anthem
Jelly Roll is more than just a singer. He’s branched out into professional wrestling as well. Now, he’s set his sights on football.
It was announced earlier this week that one of his songs will be the 2024-2025 game day anthem on ESPN for college football games. The season kicks off on Saturday, August 24.
Jelly Roll’s new single “Get By” will play to hype viewers up for the showdowns on the field. According to Billboard, the song is featured on Jelly Roll’s upcoming album.
Previous Game Day Anthems
Carrie Underwood has hyped up Sunday Night Football viewers since 2013. Multiple outlets confirm that she will return for the 2024-2025 season and reportedly already filmed a new opening.

But ESPN switches this up for the college football opening theme every year. Post Malone’s song “Something Real” was the 2023 theme song. The singer is releasing his first country album later this year.
Artists from all genres have performed the ESPN Game Day theme song, including Fall Out Boy, Lauren Alaina, and Thirty Seconds to Mars. Click here for a look back at the ESPN college football theme songs throughout the years.
All The Details On Jelly Roll’s New Album
Jelly Roll’s last album, Whitsitt Chapel, came out in 2023 and spawned numerous hit singles and awards. His next album is reportedly coming out later this year, but fans have already heard a few of the songs.
“I Am Not Okay” was the first song from the upcoming album released. He followed it with “Liar” and “Get By.” Jelly Roll has two songs on the soundtrack for the Twisters movie that came out earlier this month. Fans will have to wait to see if “Leave The Light On” or “Dead End Road” make the cut for his upcoming album. Miranda Lambert also has a song on the movie soundtrack.
