Carrie Underwood has been married to retired NHL star Mike Fisher for 14 years. Their marriage has been under the microscope in recent years. A source spilled that she’s ‘worried’ that his friends are bad influences. Keep reading to find out why.
Carrie Underwood & Husband Divorcing?
It’s been nearly twenty years since Carrie Underwood was crowned the winner of Season 4 of American Idol back in 2005. She is still one of the most sought-after artists in the music industry. In 2021, she kicked off a Las Vegas Residency that finally wraps up next year. With all of her performing, she’s rarely ever home with her husband and two kids.
Carrie Underwood married hockey player Mike Fisher in 2010. He retired from the NHL for good in 2018 after 18 seasons. The couple recently celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary, but there are reports of trouble in paradise.
The longtime couple allegedly disagree over expanding their family. They are already parents of two boys. They welcomed their oldest son, Isaiah, in 2015. Their second son, Jacob, joined the family in 2019. With her career as hot as ever, Carrie Underwood reportedly isn’t interested in having more children. She recently returned to American Idol as a judge after Katy Perry’s departure.
Why She ‘Worries’ His Friends Are Bad Influences
According to Life & Style, fellow American Idol judge Luke Bryan is looking forward to being friends with Carrie Underwood’s husband. The insider spilled that Bryan and a few other country stars idolize the NHL legend.
“The Nashville guys love that Mike is all man, and he tells them stories about getting teeth knocked out by an elbow on the ice and his hunting adventures in the Great White North, He’s a different kind of macho man than they’re used to in the country music industry.”
The outlet noted that Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher’s son plays in the same youth sports league as Jason Aldean’s son. The source close to the singer revealed that she’s happy her husband has bros to hang out with, but has a minor concern.
“She also worries about what they might be up to when she’s out touring — all she can think of is her nice living room back home strewn with empty beer bottles!”
Now that her Las Vegas shows are ending, perhaps Carrie Underwood will be home more to supervise her husband and his new friends. Do you blame her for thinking Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean might be a bad influence on her clean-cut hubby? Sound off in the comments.
