While skiing is a favorite pastime for many, especially during this time of the year, it does not come without risks. While the slopes can be scenic and beautiful, they can also be deadly if a wrong move or a wrong choice is made. Recently, Ronnie Dunn found himself in a precarious situation while skiing.
Ronnie Dunn took to social media, sharing a pic of his left leg wrapped in gauze. He added the caption: “Changing these lyrics from “I don’t dance with anybody but you” to “I probably shouldn’t ski anymore at 72”….? 8 week vacation !! RD.”

Ronnie Dunn Fans Send Positive Messages After Skiing Mishap
While Dunn did not go into more details regarding his accident, his daughter recently shared an update to her social media story, and it looks like her dad had to go under the knife for knee replacement surgery. Haley Dunn wrote: “12 hours post knee replacement.”
The update shows Dunn standing on his own, with a walker next to him. So, it’s certainly a good sign if he is already able to move around on his own. Injuries like this are often severe, and this one likely could have been much worse. However, all things considered, Ronnie Dunn seems to be in good shape following this incident.
- One fan wrote: “You’re a hard-working man but you better take it slow sometimes. Prayers for a speedy recovery and get down to Alexandria Louisiana to The Rapides Parish Coliseum, so I can see you in concert. I was listening to your Brooks and Dunn’s videos on YouTube all last night. Love you!”
- Another commenter added: “We reach a time where our body reminds us of our age. Relax, take it easy heal up so you can do what you do best.”
