Kane Brown is generally well-liked by most people, but he just admitted that he is a “bad friend” to a fellow country star. So, what made him say that, and is it a fair assessment? Keep reading for more details.

Kane Brown Missed A Big Moment

In the music industry, it seems that everyone has something going on. Yet, in country, there are always several endeavors all at once. Clothing, restaurants, bars, concerts, merchandise, tours, albums, and more. Plus, kids, farms, and families, it can be hard to keep up. Kane Brown knows this far too well, as he has three children with his wife and has tour dates lined up this year. Unfortunately, he let a very important event get away from him. That led to him being deemed a self-proclaimed “bad friend.”

He did a duet with Chris Young called “Famous Friends,” and it was a smash. It did so well that Chris opted to open a bar in Nashville, Tennessee, under the same name. However, Kane ended up missing the grand opening, which he realized was a huge mistake after the fact. He ended up issuing an apology to Chris, although he did note that he wanted to attend the following day:

I know, I missed it. I was supposed to go to the opening. I was a bad friend and didn’t make it.

Kane Brown has his own bar in Nashville, as well. He did feel legitimately bad about not being able to be there for Chris Young, but he did not say what kept him away. Hopefully, they will be able to team up for a good night sometime soon. After all, this place seems to be as big a hit as the song.

Ready & Raring To Go

Upon the grand opening of Chris Young’s bar, people were clamoring to go. They loved the song he did with Kane Brown and the concept of Famous Friends:
