Kane Brown’s Nashville bar just opened in May 2026, but it is already under fire and has been smacked with a $2.4 million lawsuit. He is a smash hit with the fans, and people adore him. So, what went wrong, and can he get out of it? Keep reading for more details.
Kane Brown Is A Fan Favorite
Country fans love Kane Brown as he is not just an incredible performer but an amazing family man. He and his wife, Katelyn, met a decade ago and have been happily married since 2018. They share three children, Kodi, Krewe, and Kingsley, and have been living their best lives ever since. Aside from music and family time, Kane took the time to open his own bar, Kane Brown’s On Broadway. It opened in May 2026, and he was thrilled to share it with all of his fans and followers.
Unfortunately, there are some issues with it. The establishment’s previous owners are suing the current owners for $2.4 million. They claim there was a breach of contract, with money never being paid by the Michigan-based The Elia Group. Previously, the bar was called The Valentine before the purchase. As part of the buyout, the owners were to make monthly interest-only payments of $13,333 on a $2 million promissory note. The $2 million was due by May 2026, but per the lawsuit, $2,048,525.48 is still owed.
There is also $673.49 per day in interest for breach of the purchase agreement and, finally, $365,910.87 for breach of the consulting agreement. Right now, Kane Brown and his team have yet to say anything regarding the situation. Hopefully, it will get resolved sooner rather than later as to not impact business.
This Is The Place
Nashville is the place for country singers to have their bars, so Kane Brown would want any issues squashed. It seems that he had a team find and fund the business, and he put his name on it. However, he needs to get even more involved so that it does not go under because of money problems. Recently, Kane stopped by to bartend at his bar, and fans went crazy:
