The country world is a little less bright after the announcement that one of their own passed away from cancer at the age of 35. So, who was it, and what type of cancer did they succumb to? Keep reading for more details.
Country Singer Dead At 35
This has been a very hard year for the country community, and they are trying to wrap up all artists, especially after the loss of Dolly Parton. She succumbed to a silent battle with cancer in August 2026 at the age of 80. Now, another performer has died from cancer at the tender age of 35.
Taylor Red is a trio of identical red-haired sisters who were based in Nashville, Tennessee. Many may know Nicole, Nika, and Natalie from their social media videos that were fun in nature. In them, a random face would often appear, and that would blow up the comments. On YouTube, they have almost 17 million subscribers. However, they also had hit singles such as “Country Money” and “Rent Free.” The Hurley, Mississippi natives suffered a major setback when Nicole was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022.
Sadly, Nicole passed away, as Nika and Natalie announced via their channel. They shared the heartbreaking news that she had died on September 28th. Moreover, they said it was not a video they thought they would make:
We thought she’d be here sharing her story of earthly healing. Instead, we’re sharing her story of heavenly healing and she’s at peace and no longer suffering, so we’re thankful for that.
A private funeral had been held for the country singer who fought the best that she could. She remained as strong as she could and held everyone up during this time.
What’s Next?
It is unclear what will happen next for Taylor Red and whether they will continue on with their country trio. Now that Nicole is gone, they may choose to go in a different direction, but time will tell. Fans were broken for the sisters and immediately sent love and prayers:
