Miranda Lambert has decided to switch up her show solely because she wants to cease the fights that were occurring. It seems that her concerts cause a lot of drama. From beach balls to selfies, nothing can go right. Yet, Miranda is determined to find a way to control something. So, what exactly did she switch and will it work? Read on for more details.

Miranda Lambert Switches Up Show To Cease Fights

Who would have imagined that a sweet country show would come with so much drama? Miranda Lambert has been the center of attention for weeks. First, she called out some female concertgoers for taking selfies during her show. This caused artists to speak out, some being divided on the situation. LL Cool J felt that Lambert needed to chill while Jelly Roll understood both sides. He believed that had she been singing a less emotional song (it was “Tin Man”), things may have been different. However, after this selfie debacle happened, footage emerged of Lambert popping a beach ball.

She said that this was a country show, not a beach so it was not a good look for her when fans were already frustrated. Now, she has decided to switch up her setlist during her shows, and for a good reason. According to Whiskey Riff, Miranda Lambert has had to move “Mama’s Broken Heart” to the end of her show. She shared this information with Cowboys & Indians last year as her Las Vegas residency was beginning. Luckily, it will go through the end of 2023 for those who want to catch it.

As for the setlist, she wanted to stay true to the songs that launched her career. However, she knows that some needed to be moved around to avoid injury-literally. Lambert explained of “Mama’s Broken Heart”: “We had to move that one in the setlist because we had it right after ‘The House That Built Me’ — or right before ‘The House That Built Me,’ actually — and the girls always get in fights. And I’d have to wait to start my ballad because they’d have to calm down from ‘Mama’s Broken Heart.’”

The Closing Battle

Miranda Lambert explained that she put “Mama’s Broken Heart” with “Gunpowder & Lead,” “Little Red Wagon,” and “Drunk.” In her mind, Lambert feels that the girls who want to fight will just do so until the very end. Plus, they will miss the rest of the show so that will be their loss. However, it is sending mixed signals to fans as it appears it is okay to fight but not okay to play with beach balls or take selfies.

Do you think Miranda should have messed with her setlist or is what she did best for the fans? Let us know in the comments below.
