Miranda Lambert has a new album coming out soon, but first she gave fans a treat with a single from the soundtrack of an upcoming blockbuster movie. Keep reading for all the details on her latest release.
Miranda Lambert Teases ‘Honky Tonk’ Album
Miranda Lambert revealed earlier this year that she found a new record label after leaving Sony Music Nashville last year. In April 2024, she announced that she signed with Republic Records and Big Loud.
She’s been hard at work on her first album with her new label. The country music superstar told Us Weekly that the new record feels like the most authentic one she’s ever done.
“I feel like it’s one of the most ‘me’ records I’ve ever made. It’s really a kind of a time capsule of all of the music that’s inspired me, and it’s honkey tonk as h*ll. It’s country, and luckily country is really getting a moment right now.”
Miranda Lambert gave fans a taste of what’s to come in May when she released “Wranglers,” a track from the forthcoming album. A release date for the entire album has yet to be announced.
New Single From Blockbuster Movie Soundtrack
With her personal life making tabloid headlines, Miranda Lambert is probably happy to focus on music. She is among several artists featured on the soundtrack from the upcoming movie Twisters. The soundtrack includes some of today’s hottest country artists, including Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs, and Shania Twain.
Miranda Lambert took to social media to announce that her single from the Twisters movie, “Ain’t in Kansas Anymore,” is out this Friday.
