Latest In Shocking Sexual Assault Lawsuit

A former hairdresser of Garth Brooks filed a lawsuit in California last month with some bombshell allegations about the popular country singer. The woman – who we won’t name, despite Brooks revealing her name in court documents – accused the “Thunder Rolls” singer of rape and sexual abuse. Garth Brooks denied all the allegations and claimed the woman was trying to extort money from him.

According to the Clarion Ledger, the attorneys from both sides were in court earlier in late October. They argued two motions in front of the judge for sanctions on both lawyers. Garth Brooks filed a complaint that his accuser was trying to blackmail him for money. The alleged rape victim’s lawyer demanded sanctions against Brooks and his legal team for leaking the woman’s name to the public. The judge didn’t rule on either motion yet.

Garth Brooks Hints He’s Leaving U.S. Amid Serious Allegations

Garth Brooks’ wife of nearly 20 years, Trisha Yearwood, is reportedly standing by him and believes he’s innocent of the accusations. However, she still wants to get out of dodge, or at least out of the U.S.

Garth Brooks is wrapping up his popular Facebook Live series Studio G later this year. But during a recent episode, he spilled that his wife wants to get another house overseas.

According to Taste of Country, one of the singer’s fans from Ireland offered to host Garth and Trisha at their home. However, Garth Brooks revealed that the couple is considering purchasing their own house there.

“Actually, the Queen is pushing hard for that house over there,” the singer said. “The Queen” is his nickname for Trisha Yearwood. The “Tomorrow Never Comes” singer revealed that his wife fell in love with Ireland during his tour there in 2022.

“We played two weekends, so we went on that stint across the country, and everyone was so sweet to her,” he said about the experience. If the couple does purchase a home in Ireland, it likely has little to do with his legal battle. However, getting away from the media attention might be nice.
