Kid Rock is an avid supporter of President-elect Donald Trump. He performed at several of the politician’s rallies and the 2024 Republican National Convention. Rumors circulated on social media that the rocker would team up with country artist Blake Shelton for a “non-woke” tour of states that overwhelmingly voted for Trump. Keep reading for all the details on the alleged tour.
Blake Shelton Teams Up With Kid Rock For ‘Non-Woke’ Tour?
Kid Rock’s political leanings are very clear. What about Blake Shelton? The country singer hasn’t been as vocal about his politics as some other musicians. In 2016, he tweeted, “Hey guys lets talk politics. I believe many of the challenges this nation faces today can be solved. And I’m just gonna say what I think.” But he never really followed up with further comment.
His wife, No Doubt singer, Gwen Stefani is rumored to be a Democrat, though she also shies away from talking politics. Many fans assume Blake Shelton is a Republican, but he hasn’t confirmed that.
Social media was ablaze this week with rumors that Shelton was teaming up with Kid Rock for a tour called the Non-Woke Red States Tour that was only visiting so-called “red states,” or states that voted predominately for Trump.
Is this actually true?
It seems the rumor is just that – an unconfirmed rumor. It was originated on The Patriot Network’s Facebook page. Their about info describes them as “a Network of Satire and Parody affiliated with SpacexMania.com,” a site often the source of false rumors.
Blake Shelton does have a tour planned next year, but not with Kid Rock.
2025 ‘Rock The Country’ Tour
Kid Rock shared a very real tour announcement of his own on November 12. He unveiled the line-up for the 2025 Rock The Country Tour. Last year’s tour featured Hank Williams Jr., Travis Tritt, Miranda Lambert, and more. Who is headlining this year’s tour?
According to the official announcement, Nickleback and Hank Williams Jr. are the other headliners on the tour. “10 small towns. 10 massive shows,” the poster brags. The tour will stop in each town for a two or three-day festival before moving on to the next small town.
Other performers include 3 Door Downs, Clay Walker, Shenandoah, and Afroman. The tour kicks off on April 4, 2025, in Livingston, Louisiana.
