Miranda Lambert and her husband Brendan McLoughlin first met in 2018. Then, they tied the knot in 2019. In January 2021, they celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary.
Now, she’s talking all about her marriage and where it all began.
The country star sat down with SiriusXM’s Storme Warren for a virtual interview. During the interview, she talked about her marriage and gave listeners a peek into her relationship.
In the interview, she says, “We didn’t date very long before we got married. And so we sort of got to just really, really, really get to know each other. It was just us two with no distraction, at my farm outside of Nashville. And so I was really thankful for it because it made us really strong.”
She continues, saying that the coronavirus pandemic has been helpful in strengthening her relationship with her husband. During the coronavirus quarantine, the couple went on a road trip in their Airstream. In an Instagram post, she talks about how she’s traveled over the years while on tour. While on tour, she hasn’t had the opportunity to stop and explore. Traveling last summer gave her a chance to get out and see the sights.
She adds, “A lot of my friends don’t really see their significant other because we’re different directions all the time. With everything that happened last year, I think everybody was forced to sort of reconnect with themselves and with people that they really love and that are close to them.”
What’s next for Miranda Lambert & Brendan McLoughlin?
A source spoke with US Weekly about the couple’s future. According to the source, the country singer hopes to start a family. She also wants to be with her husband forever. The source adds that Brendan is on the same page as his wife.
As of right now, Miranda hasn’t announced a pregnancy. It shouldn’t come as a surprise if they share that they’re expanding their little family sometime soon. Based on what Miranda has shared, it seems like they’re very happy and in love.

It is a great story and I am one of their biggest fans. I am very happy they found each other at a time when things were not normal and they got to spend quality time together instead of rushing off on another tour!
