Sings her heart out before ACM Awards

Earlier this month, the 38-year-old singer released her first album, My Savior. She is said to be singing a medley of tracks from the inspirational project. On Saturday, April 17, Carrie Underwood took to Instagram to share a photo of herself backstage at the ACM Awards. In the photo, she sat on a black stool in an olive green tank top and black short shorts.

Underwood wore her blonde hair in a low ponytail. She accessorized her look with a black crossbody bag and matching sneakers. A large bottle of BodyArmor water sat near her on a table. Underwood revealed that the sports drink brand and her athletic clothing brand keep her prepared for the big show.

“This new @caliabycarrie is perfect for any kind of warm up!” Underwood wrote in the caption. “See you at the #ACMawards tomorrow! #StaythePath #ChooseYou #MySavior.”

Over 105,000 people loved Underwood’s post. Fans were impressed by how strong she looked. Others commented that they couldn’t wait to see her perform her new album at the 2021 ACM Awards. Others left a series of heart-eyed and red heart emojis on her Instagram post.

The country singer is committed to her fitness, even when she has a busy schedule. She also reminded her fans to “Stay the Path” when it comes to their own personal or career goals. Underwood has become a source of inspiration for many reasons. In these tough times, her music has helped fans and uplifted them during Christmas and Easter seasons.

What is Carrie Underwood performing?

The Academy of Country Music Awards will have plenty of star-studded performances. Fans will hear some of the best music in the country music industry. Together, Carrie Underwood and CeCe Winans will perform a medley of songs from My Savior. Details about their performance are unclear at this time.

Underwood’s Instagram post only showed her singing alone. It’s likely that Winans will only join her part for their rendition of “Great is Thy Faithfulness.” Also, Underwood and John Legend are nominated for their song “Hallelujah” from her first-ever Christmas album, My Gift. My Savior is the companion album to her Christmas album.

Keith Urban will host the event for the second consecutive year and will be joined by New Female Artist of the Year Mickey Guyton. The 2021 ACM Awards will broadcast live on Sunday, April 18 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
