Ever since Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin tied the knot in January 2019, the couple has stood by each other as a rock. They met on the set of Good Morning America in New York City. She was performing with her band, Pistol Annies. Brendan was an officer with the NYPD at the time and was assigned as the security for the show. Miranda Lambert’s Husband Retired Officially From NYPD In 2020
While Brendan is very supportive of her wife, he also has a cool job of his own after his retirement from the New York City Police Department. After their wedding in January, he took a month-long leave of absence from the force in the summer. However, in February 2020, he officially announced his retirement from the department.

As per InTouch Weekly, the retired cop then left his post in the Big Apple to be a part of Miranda’s security team. Several fans have claimed to different media outlets that they have seen the country star’s husband working during her shows. This includes checking bags at the door.
Miranda Jokes About Brendan’s New Job
Not just that, the singer has also joked that Brendan is a ‘househusband.’ She occasionally shares videos on social media showing him doing household chores such as yard work or laundry. Given that Miranda’s 2022 net worth is estimated to be $60 million, money surely isn’t a big stressor for the loving couple.

It isn’t a secret that Brendan is very supportive of his wife. He also acknowledged that he will be with her every step of the way during her Las Vegas residency starting September 23. Talking about his plans for Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo the Las Vegas Residency, he said: “Every single night I’ll be watching [Miranda] do what she does best.”
Miranda Lambert Kept Brendan McLoughlin Away From Public Eyes
Brendan has been by Miranda’s side ever since they met. However, the Mama’s Broken Heart singer admitted that she tried to keep their romance hidden from the public eye. This continued until the couple’s surprise wedding announcement happened on Valentine’s Day in 2019. Talking about this secrecy before marriage, she said:
“With Brendan, I made it a point to keep it as private as I could for as long as I could. To pull him into that world, I was like, ‘I’m sorry, this might be a shock.’ He just takes it like a champ. He’s better at it than I am.”
