Tyler Childers has a new album coming out and he has released his first single from the album along with a video. The news not only came with the album’s name and the video, but there is also a release date for the album, so fans know when to expect it.

Tyler Childers new album release date
Tyler Childers has been working on a new album. The good news is that it is coming very soon. This sixth studio album for Childers is called Rustin In The Rain, and the official release date for the album is September 8, 2023. That means the new album will be here in just six short weeks.
Childers has five studio albums he has released since 2011, along with four EPs. His breakout album was his second one, Purgatory, which he released in 2017 and saw certified platinum. Childers’ next album, Country Squire, was his first number-one album, reaching the top of the US Country charts after its 2019 release. His last two albums hit sixth and third, respectively, on the US Country charts.
Childers also has three platinum singles in “Lady May,” “Whitehouse Road,” and “All Your’n” and a gold single in “House Fire.” His 2017 song “Feathered Indians” didn’t chart, but still ended up as his most successful hit, going double platinum. Childers also won the Emerging Artist of the Year honors at the Americana Music Honors & Awards in 2018 and was nominated for Best Country Solo Performace at the Grammys in 2020 for “All Your’n.”
On top of the new Tyler Childers album release date, he also released a list of concert dates. He starts off his tour on August 2 with a show at the Radio City Music Hall in New York and also has shows lined up everywhere from Philadelphia and Charlotte to Lexington, Kentucky, and the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado.
Tyler Childers new video has a strong message
The new Tyler Childers single is for the song “In Your Love.” This is a love ballad. However, as the video shows, it is a very different type of love story. The song is about two people who want to be together, but are unable to.
The video takes place in rural Appalachia, with two coal miners who have secretly fallen in love in the 1950s. This is an LGBTQ+ love story and the tale of forbidden love. However, it also turns out that this is the memory of the forbidden love, as one of the men died thanks to a terminal illness caused by the coal mine’s toxic air. The video is shot as a sort of short film.
