Carrie Underwood’s fans are unhappy with the CMAs and their nominations for Female Vocalist of the Year. The CMA did not include Underwood in their list of nominees. They are going as far as to accuse the CMAs of “snubbing” the country music megastar.
Who Made The List?
This year’s CMA Awards nominations for Female Vocalist of the Year is packed with several giant country music stars. Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Carley Pearce and Ashley McBryde were all nominated for this prestigious award from the CMAs. Although all these super-talented women are deserving of the CMA award, Carrie Underwood’s fans took notice of their favorite not being included.
All of the women nominated this year have made an impact on country music this year. So has Carrie Underwood. Her fans believe she should have made the list as well. Many are wondering why Underwood was left off this list of amazing women in country music.
Did The CMAs Snub Carrie Underwood?
Fans of Carrie Underwood are suspicious. Many feel their favorite woman in country music was intentionally left off the list of Female Vocalist of the Year nominees. They think this very well could be a “snub” for Underwood.
Seeing Carrie Underwood has been included in the list for Female Vocalist of the Year 16 times in the past 17 years, it may not only be Underwood fans who are thinking this. With her contributions to the country music scene, this year as well as in years past, it very well could be a snub of some sort from the CMA.
This year alone, Underwood has made several noteworthy contributions to country music. Her tour was sold out. She even had a Vegas residency. After those things and many others, why would she not be nominated?

Carrie Underwood Fans Sound Off
Carrie Underwood’s fans are not keeping quiet about this. Many are letting their voices be heard, expressing how they are disappointed Underwood wasn’t nominated by the CMAs for the Female Vocalist of the Year award. They are not the least bit shy about it, taking it to X (formerly known as Twitter) to make their voices heard.
One user stated “the BIGGEST woman in the entire genre is missing from the female category WTAF are these voters doing. I gave up on cma a while ago but this is just absurd. thrilled for Kelsea tho!”
