After almost a week of drama, Oliver Anthony’s fans have rallied around him. The support for him has brought about the very first Facebook fan group to be created. This fan group went live today.
What Is The Oliver Anthony Drama?
The drama this week surrounding Oliver Anthony has been all about concert ticket prices. Anthony discovered his fans were going to be charged $99 for a single concert ticket and $199 for the one ticket and the meet and greet after the concert. Calling this “horses**t,” Oliver Anthony went to work to correct the problem.
Anthony ended up canceling his concert which was supposed to have been at Cotton Eyed Joe’s in Knoxville, Tennessee. Seeing the venue started selling tickets before Oliver Anthony had signed the contract, he canceled the concert as quickly as possible. He went as far as to promise to refund the ticket buyers’ money from his own pocket. He didn’t have to do that. Cotton Eyed Joe’s did end up refunding the money.
Concert With $25 Tickets Rescheduled
Oliver Anthony quickly found another venue, a venue that would only charge $25 per ticket and with a free meet and greet after the concert. The $25 is the price Anthony wanted his fans to pay. It is one of his goals to make sure tickets to his concerts are affordable.
The rescheduled concert will be at the Knoxville Convention Center on September 29th. Unlike before, Oliver Anthony was able to secure a venue for his concert that would charge his fans the price Anthony believes is fair. Making this an even better deal for his concertgoers, the Knoxville Convention Center will be able to hold more fans.

Fans Rally Behind Oliver Anthony
Oliver Anthony, despite being one of the newest country music stars, already has a loyal fan base. They took to social media in support of the “Rich Men North of Richmond” singer. Thousands took the time to voice their support on both Facebook and X, formerly known as Twitter.
Now, Oliver fans have started a Facebook fan group to honor this country music singer. It is the first Facebook fan group for Anthony. Seeing it only went live this evening, the number of members isn’t high. Despite this, the Facebook fan group is growing.
Joining The Group
Anyone who uses Facebook will be able to see the group titled “Oliver Anthony Fan Group.” Despite this, only members will be able to see what is posted in the group. Because it is such a new group, it is unknown what will be posted in the group.
