Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour hits theaters on Oct. 13, but all eyes will be on TV screens this Sunday to see if she’s at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Minnesota Vikings game to root on rumored boyfriend, Chiefs player Travis Kelce.

Lainey Wilson can relate to the rumored couple trying to keep their relationship on the down low. After all, she’s been dating former NFL player Devlin ‘Duck’ Hodges since 2021 but only went public with the relationship at the ACM Awards in May 2023.
During a recent appearance on the Taste of Country Nights radio show, Wilson shared her thoughts on the hullabaloo surrounding Swift and Kelce.
“I think the truth is, they’re both extremely, extremely successful at what they do, and I’m sure that they have a lot in common,” she said.
Country Star Dominates Music Charts
Lainey Wilson has high praise for fellow singer Jelly Roll. The two collaborated on the song “Save Me” off his Whitsitt Chapel album. The duet earned them Collaboration Song Of 2013 at the first-ever People’s Choice Country Awards last month.

She also won Female Artist of 2023 Award at the ceremony. Wilson continued her hot streak into October, hitting No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay with her song “Watermelon Moonshine.”
It was her fifth number-one single. She recently cleared up any speculation about who inspired the song.
Lainey Wilson ‘Excited’ To Share New Side Of Herself With Fans
Lainey Wilson just released her Bell Bottom Country album last year. But when she’s ready to release her next album, fans may be surprised by the theme of the songs.
She recently spoke with Audacy’s Katie & Company about a change she’s seeing in herself. While her hit “Watermelon Moonshine” is about young love, she’s never written about love before.
That will change with her next album. “I am in love… I’m excited to share this side of my life” she said.
However, fans shouldn’t expect “mushy, gushy” love songs from her. “I think it’s going to be more of the ‘I’m a strong woman and I gotta man who’s OK with it kind of thing,'” she said of her songwriting.
