Besides sharing two kids together, Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn, proved to the world their love knows no bounds when they released the powerful duet “Thank God.” Other than showing their charisma on screen, the pair stunned the crowd at the 2023 CMT Music Awards. Not only showcasing their talents on the stage, they also walked home with the Video of the Year award.
Last year, discussing their duet power, Kane hinted at a bright future ahead. He said, “There will definitely be another song with us in the future. We’re gonna write another song and release it. We just want it to be better than this one.” Well, it seems that the time has come.
Although Kane Brown and his wife aren’t the first duet to hit the stage, the singer noted that what they share is more than a gimmick. Describing the appeal to” Thank God,” Kane said, “I think it’s just because it’s a true love story. It’s not two artists who are singing it to each other and have no future with each other. I feel like people can relate to that. Plus, it’s a beautiful song.”
During their acceptance speech, Katelyn appeared stunned by the reception they received. “This is all so new to me and when we recorded this song a year ago, I never in my life would ever think that this was ever gonna happen.”
Kane Brown And Katelyn Share Their Love With Fans
On Thursday, Kane Brown and Katelyn woke up to their fifth wedding anniversary. But before the festivities began, the couple dropped a short demo of what they had been working on. And for those who caught “Even Death Won’t Do Us Apart,” they heard Kane singing beautiful verses like “Long after that sun burns out that sky/ Long after that ocean don’t turn the tide/ One thing is true, I’ll be loving you.”
Joining her husband, Katelyn’s voice carries the verse, “One day when the mountains and the valley align/ I’ll still be yours and you’ll still be mine/ One thing is true, I’ll be loving you.”
The pair come together to harmonize over their love and how death has no hold over what they share.
The Next ‘Garth & Trish’
Before the clip disappeared, fans filled the comment section that, yet again, the duet created another hit. One fan described Kane and Katelyn Brown as being the next “Tim & Faith/Garth & Trisha.”
While the couple remains silent on the future, Kane Brown released another single, “I Can Feel It,” which is currently on country radio. The song is expected to accompany the release of his next studio album, which is also a mystery for now.
