In October 2022, country singer Blake Shelton announced his time with the hit show The Voice was coming to an end. While some fans didn’t want to believe it, in 2023 the singer followed through with his word and vacated his seat. Following his exit, many wondered what was next for Shelton. Was he going to live out his days in Oklahoma with his wife Gwen Stefani? Or maybe release a new album? Although he seemed to enjoy his time off, it appears that Shelton is done with his vacation as he announced he would be hitting the road again for the Back to the Honky Tonk Tour.
Back On The Road
Before Blake Shelton exited The Voice, he discussed his decision to spend time with his family and focus more on his music. While loving the show, the singer explained, “Walking away from music, you might as well just poison me or something. That’s not something I can go without. I can’t help it.” Shelton noted at the time that he was at a “crossroads” given the new age of country music, suggesting, “I’m excited to get some time back away from The Voice and concentrate more on, ‘What kind of record do I want to make? Is it going to fit in? Do I care? Do I not care?’ I got a lot to figure out.”
While it seemed that Blake Shelton hinted at another album coming, on Wednesday, the country icon shared a post all over social media, detailing the second leg of his Back to the Honky Tonk Tour in 2024. Excited about the news, Shelton captioned his post with, “We’re going #BackToTheHonkyTonk in 2024!!! Looking forward to hitting the road again with my friends Kubota and bringing @dustinlynch and @emilyann_music out for the fun. Tickets go on-sale Friday, October 27 and November 3rd.”

Blake Shelton Helps Wife Embrace Fall
As for his home life, Blake Shelton seems to be loving life as Gwen Stefani recently uploaded a video on her Instagram. It details herself and Shelton scouring their land, searching for the right fall decorations. After some rummaging, the pair took their finds and transformed them into a beautiful door display that perfectly encapsulates fall in Oklahoma. Stefani wrote, “We love Fall over here !!”
