Jelly Roll just broke down over an unimaginable honor. First off, the singer has had quite a week. Not only did he win his first CMA Award but he also performed with the iconic Wynonna Judd. Additionally, he had an amazing performance with K. Michelle. Now, he has landed an honor he never thought was possible and he is sharing his vulnerability with the world.
Jelly Roll Breaks Down Over Unimaginable Honor
Winning his first CMA was a huge moment for Jelly Roll. He is the kind of person who never dreamed he would have a number one single. Now, he has a critically acclaimed tour that is setting the bar extremely high. More so, he is proving that absolutely anything is possible with faith and a strong belief system. Jelly has not forgotten the trouble he got into and how far he has come. He uses his story to inspire inmates that they can be more than they think they are or have been told they will be. Now, he is being rewarded with one, if not the highest honors, in the music industry.
On Friday, November 10th, Jelly was nominated for two Grammy Awards. He got one nod for Best New Artist and the second for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. This is for his collaboration with Lainey Wilson on the smash single, “Save Me.” Rather than just issue a statement, Jelly sent out a personal and heartfelt message that will bring anyone to tears.

With tears in his eyes, he admitted he was so emotional. Yet, he had received the greatest honor an artist could ever garner. Admittedly, Jelly had not cried like this since his father had passed and he had tried to get through the video a handful of times. In the end, he told his fans how much he loved them. He has always shown endless gratitude to those around him from groomers at stops on his tours. That is why people have embraced him so much because he is so genuine.
So Deserving
Immediately, Jelly Roll received a comment from Wynonna Judd:
- YOU DESERVE IT ALL!!!!!!! 🙌 We are so happy for you!!!!!!! Congratulations my sweet friend ❤️
His wife, Bunnie XO, followed with this:
- You’re a supernova papa- YOU DESERVE ALL THISSSSSS 😭😭😭😭
Fancy Hagood had this to say:
- LETS GOOOO JELLLYYY!!! So deserved! cheering for you always!
It just did not stop. The love and support that he received from this video and because of this day was endless. He is so deserving of this. Congratulations.
