At the Grand Ole Opry special, Wynonna Judd shocked the crowd with her incredible weight loss as she performed on stage.
Wynonna Judd Wows The Audience
She flaunted her gorgeous new look at the two-hour musical event, showing off in several different outfits. She started the show with a duet of “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,” with Kelly Clarkson.
With her captivating presence and decades of musical experience, Wynonna, 59, was the perfect choice to lead the NBC program.
Brenda Lee, Chrissy Metz and Trace Adkins were a part of the stars on the roster for the evening. Of course, they are all talented, but all eyes were on Wynonna. She first opened up about her weight loss journey over a decade ago.
Wynonna made changes to her diet and fitness routine and has lost more than 55 pounds!

When Did Wynonna’s Fitness Journey Begin?
“My weight was a symptom and not the problem,” said Wynona in an interview with People. In October of 2010, she decided to focus more on her heath, “I used food to soothe and reward, and I don’t do that anymore.”
She followed with, “Very seldom will you see donuts in my house because I can eat a box.” She continued, “It’s like a chip, I can’t eat just one.”
She also reflected on taking a new approach while going grocery shopping.
She Sparked Fans Concern
The singer of “Young Love,” recently showed off her new, gorgeous look at the 2023 CMA Awards. On November 8, 2023, Wynonna Judd sparked fan concern after holding on to superstar Jelly Roll’s arm as they took the stage to perform his famous song, “Need a Favor.” Following the performance, she went to social media and assured her fans that she is in fact, okay.
She posted a TikTok and said, “I’m just going to come clean with y’all. I was so freaking nervous. I got out there, and I looked at jelly Roll. I wanted it to be so good for him. I could cry right now, but I’m not going to because I’m such a fan of his and he asked me to sing, and I said, ‘Absolutely!’ I got out there and I was so nervous that I just held on for dear life. And that’s the bottom line.”
Aside From Fan Concerns
Despite all the concerns from fans about her health, she was happy to be able to perform with Jelly Roll, 39.
“I have to show up for people like people did for me,” said Wynonna to Entertainment Tonight, on the red carpet following their performance. “That’s my job now is to pass it on because people have been so generous with me and now it’s my turn to be generous with people like, Jelly Roll, and that’s what I’m doing.”
