Are Wynonna Judd and Jelly Roll making music magic together in the future? The two shared an epic performance at the CMA Awards. More so, they are both avid fans of each other so working together would be amazing and exciting. Now, will it happen? Read on for more details.
Wynonna Judd & Jelly Roll Making Music Magic Together In Future?
Performing together at the CMA Awards was a huge deal for Wynonna Judd and Jelly Roll. He was so excited to honor The Judds at the show’s close. Moreover, he surprised the audience by bringing Wynonna out to open the show with him. Jelly said that he had a special guest but was not telling anyone who it was or what was going on but he was over the moon excited for it. Though Judd appeared unstable when she came out on the stage, it turned out that she was paralyzed with fear. She did not want to mess up this insane moment for Jelly and wanted to do right by him.
He went on to gush about how phenomenal of a human being Wynonna is. Furthermore, Jelly Roll told his wife, Bunnie XO that the performer usually declines to duet. Therefore, she did not have to perform with him but she said yes and she pushed herself to the limits. Since everyone raved about her voice and how tremendous they were together, will they do it again? According to Parade, there is more to come from the two superstars.
Wynonna started off by explaining more about what transpired the night of the CMAs. She shared that she is actually really a very shy person but no one knows these details about her. Moreover, she noted that they do not know this because everything is just presumed about her. Of course, Judd went on to say that she feared she would be late to the performance. It did not help that she and Jelly were opening it:
“There were about six or eight cars in front of me and I absolutely panicked because we were at the top of the show. So, by the time I got to the side of the stage, it was absolute chaos because it’s live television and everybody was running around, and I just went, ‘Oh, my God, oh, my God, oh, my God,’ and then it was 5-4-3-2-1 and I went, ‘Hallelujah, let’s do this.’ I just have a thing about live television because you don’t get to do it over.”
The Mutual Love
Fortunately for Wynonna Judd, she said that Jelly Roll has been amazing to her. That is clear from how much praise he sent out to her on Bunnie’s Dumb Blonde podcast. That being said, she reassured fans that there is definitely more to come from the two of them. He has already done a duet with Lainey Wilson so one with Judd would be beautiful. Judd seems like she is more than ready to roll, as well.
