Kelsea Ballerini and her boyfriend Chase Stokes, have been dating for one year. They shared their first anniversary with fans, and they are as smitten as ever.
Kelsea Ballerini Is In Love
On Sunday, January 7, 2024, Kelsea jumped on social media to share a reel of her favorite photos and videos of Chase. “A whole trip around the sun with my bestie.” she captioned the post. “Thanks for making me write love songs.”

Clicking through the album, it’s apparent Kelsea’s relationship with Chase is giving her plenty of sweet songwriting opportunities. From the playful banter during dinner dates to the cuddly moments to the pictures of Chase supporting Kelsea at there shows, you can tell their relationship is silly and romantic. In one post, Kelsea showed Chase snoring, which was still sweet.
Chase Posted To Social Media
While Kelsea gushed over Chase, she isn’t the only one who knows how to properly celebrate their anniversary. Chase, who is known for his role on the famous show, Outer Banks, posted an adorable post of his own to celebrate their one year. He was even sweeter!
While his caption was short and sweet with, “One year of lovin you, p.s. told ya I wouldn’t embarrass you.” He added numerous shots of Kelsea by herself and ones with him as well. One video features the two lovebirds singing at a piano together and another shows them jamming out to Kelsea’s song, “Heartfirst,” in a car.

How Did The Public Find Out?
The public found out about Kelsea and Chase’s romance through an Instagram post. It shows the two cuddled together at SoFi Stadium football game in January of 2023. Chase later confirmed when he posted a picture of him and Kelsea at the game.
After the game, the couple continued to share posts of them kissing and going on dates, and they had fans going wild. The two has been going strong since January of 2023.
The First Time They Met In Person
Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes count their anniversary as the first day the officially met in person. She explained during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast in November of 2023. Their relationship is the marker for Kelsea’s first public relationship since her divorce from Morgan Evans, in 2022.
Matching Tattoos?
Back in October of 2023, Kelsea and Chase got matching tattoos. The day after the tattoo artist posted her work on Instagram, the couple posted their tattoos and once put together, it can be seen that they match!
Thankfully, if their relationship doesn’t last as long as the tattoo ink, their tattoos are very simple, and not really connected in any way.
