Country singer Kacey Musgraves stripped down to tease her new album, and she chose a risqué way to promote it and generate buzz. So what can listeners expect from this upcoming offering?

Kacey Musgraves First Got Noticed On Nashville Star

Kacey Musgraves put herself on the map when she competed as part of Nashville Star in 2007. The Texas native began her career at 18. She recorded demos to earn money, and started getting herself out there by playing small festivals. By 2008, she was signed to her first record label.

As of 2020, Musgraves amassed an estimated net worth of $12 million. She has certainly come a long way since selling demos. Best of all, is that she hasn’t faded from the limelight since catching her first break. On the contrary, she continues to make strides in her career, proving that she has staying power in a notoriously cutthroat industry.

Texas Native Is Also A Grammy Winner

Kacey Musgraves recently added to her trophy collection. She won alongside Zach Bryan in the category of best country duo/group performance for I Remember Everything at the most recent ceremony. Musgraves looked as elegant as ever as she attended music’s biggest night, which also featured an iconic duet between Luke Combs and Tracy Chapman to the tune of Fast Car.

Still, even though Kacey Musgraves won a Grammy for her collaboration with Zach Bryan, she was primarily backing vocals on the Bryan track. So, coming off of this big win, many of her fans want to know more about when they can expect new music from her. Luckily, she teased new music on the way in a rather stripped-down manner.

Kacey Musgraves Gets Naked To Promote New Album

Riding high off of her Grammy win, Musgraves decided to bare all to promote her upcoming new album. The singer shared a series of updates with her 2.4 million Instagram followers to tease her new record. Not much was said, however, so, at least for now, listeners will have to draw their own conclusions.

The series of updates included pictures of a field, with green grass, and a nature theme. Continuing with that natural vibe, Musgraves shared a picture of her naked in the field. Even though she is strategically positioned in such a way as to not get flagged by the social media platform, you can see her bare backside as she lies curled up in said grass.

This could be a nod to her going back to her roots on her next record. Stripping things down and baring her soul the same way that her body is bare in the grass. Her last album was Star-Crossed in 2021. So, no matter which direction she takes with this new record, her fans are more than eager to hear new material.
